Pkg frozen cut green beans or 1 cup frozen peas or corn. In a large soup pot over high heat. Bring the stock to a boil.
Add the vegetables chicken orzo and seasonings. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer covered until the chicken and vegetables are tender about 15 -20 minutes. Stir in parsley and serve.
Combine chicken broth salt and pepper in a large soup pot. Bring to a boil over high heat. Add carrots fennel and orzo.
Return to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer partially. Add the chicken stock and lemon juice.

See Note not serving soup right away. In a large saucepan of boiling salted water cook the orzo until it is al dente about 8 minutes. Drain and rinse the orzo under cold water until cool.
